Wan Othman Wan Yahya
Chief Executive Officer / Managing Partner

Twenty (20) over years' work experience encompassing both onshore and offshore design, process construction, mechanical works for the oil and gas, water, and wastewater industries. Including, more than seven (7) years experience in the design and analysis of hydraulics modelling works for the oil and gas and water industries. Wan Othman's hydraulics modelling experience covers marine, shoreline, drainage, and river design for Greenfield and Brownfield projects.

Wan Othman has extensive experience in engineering design and planning, obtaining authority approvals, design coordination, cost estimation, tender preparation, and technical preparation.

He is especially familiar with industry codes and standards and knowledgeable in widely used analysis and design software.

 


 

Farid Zaharudin Hashim
Head of Operations

Farid is a dedicated and versatile senior management professional with over twenty (20) years of experience in the project management, business strategy, and development. For the last twelve (12) years, he has helped companies develop and generate multi-million dollar businesses in the oil and gas and telecommunications sector.

His specific expertise spans business development and management, corporate strategy, planning, communication, and collaboration management between private and government sectors.

Farid has respective product knowledge in information technology, marine technology, oil and gas subsea, mooring system design, and analysis, through to manufacturing, supply, installation and maintenance. In addition to, pipeline maintenance repair, Workover Pulling Unit (workover) rig design for a National Oil Company, corporate fundraising, through to fabrication and delivery.

He has a well-earned reputation for delivering projects safely and possesses proven abilities to use innovative methods in creating highly effective solutions to reduce cost, generate revenue, and maintain customer satisfaction. He currently holds and has held key positions in large multinational corporations and has experience working in the United States of America, ASEAN, Middle East and the Asia-Pacific rim countries.

 


 

Ir. Kushairi Badiuzaman
Director

Ir. Kushairi has accumulated over twenty-two (22) years of experience within the engineering and project management field. He started his career at Jurutera CMP Sdn Bhd, a Mechanical and Electrical consulting engineering company, as a junior mechanical engineer and involved directly in the design development, project management, and contract implementation.

He was given the opportunity to engage in various types of contract administration, for instance, Conventional Tender, Design and Build, Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contract (EPCC) projects development. In addition, he has been exposed to the conceptual design development right up to the testing and commissioning, and handing over to the client.

 


 

Ir. Che Mohd Nor Che Ishak
Director

Thirty (30) years overall professional experience with eight (8) years in structural engineering covering the detailed design and analysis of fixed offshore platforms and onshore structures.

Ir. Che Mohd Nor has two (2) years' experience in construction related activities, field engineering, skills training, and site supervision, and over twenty (20) years in business development, contract review, construction, engineering, office and project management.

During his professional career year, he gained experience in design and construction for oil and gas facilities, involved in major FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and retrofitting projects.

He is specialised mainly in pipeline, PLEM design, pipeline corrosion and weight coatings, foam insulation and fabrication of insulated steel jacketed pipes, conceptual study of single point mooring system for floating storage and loading tanker, design of fixed offshore platform, onshore/offshore steel structure, concrete structure, civil engineering, site supervision, field engineering, Brown and Greenfield oil and gas project development including conceptual and EOR project and construction engineering.

 


 

En Nor Idham Che Ghani
Programme Director

Idham has joined us as the Programme Director for GLE's Graduate Employability Programme. The training programme is centred on assisting university graduates to gain critical soft skills and equipping them with a diverse set of personal attributes in preparing them to work in the challenging business and corporate environment. Equally important, he has over twenty (20) years of experience in his profession and has extensive networking and has had lengthy collaboration with Top Universities, oil and gas as well as other industries and strong linkages with Malaysian government ministries and agencies.

Idham has a Bachelor in Psychology from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and holds various related certification and accreditation earned from various Universities, Institutions, and Accredited bodies such as, Honorary Fellow Member for the Society of Petroleum Technology Specialists (PTechS), extensive training in leadership and management from PETRONAS, and extensive training in counselling from Association of Counselling Malaysia (PERKAMA) to name a few.

Under his purview, Idham has uplifted Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) to be the top producer of oil and gas talents, outshining other top schools in Malaysia. Moreover, he has been awarded the "Best Career S FEED Design and Layout of Modularised Topside Services" in Malaysia by UNIVERSUM Singapore and 5 STARS rating for EMPLOYABILITY from QS World University Ranking.

 


 

Dr. Hasnah Ismail
Human Capital Advisor

An independent member of Might-Meteor's Board, Dr. Hasnah, is currently actively pursuing the implementation of a high impact sustainable Project in Malaysia and overseas. She leads the project conceptualisation and development of the strategic high-technology programs with the aim of realising "Science into Action" for the common shared benefits of the self-powered community. Her areas of expertise include developing strategic capacity-building Programs (with high-impact technology), leading such Projects from inception to ensure successful implementation, and working with various key stakeholders focusing on Organisation Alignment Strategy and Transformation.

She holds several professional positions such as Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Leadership, UK, Coach Facilitator - In Coaching, South Korea, Executive Council Member - Alliance Peace Corps Foundation, and Director of Human Capital Development - Foundation of Women's Voice, YASNITA (Yayasan Suara Wanita).

Additionally, Dr. Hasnah is advocating on Poverty Management through entrepreneurial talent and skills development. In total, she brings to the role more than twenty-eight (28) years of experience in strategic human capital management, Leadership and Talent development, coaching sessions across all levels of employees, and planning and executing organisation change management to achieve a high-performance culture orientation.

 


 

Omar bin Hamzah
Associate Director

Omar has over thirty (30) years of experience in global shipping and regional feasibility studies. His broad knowledge of various types of ships namely, general cargo, bulk carriers, container, and car carriers was gained from working with various shipping companies, i.e. Blue Funnel Line, United Arab Shipping Company, Malaysian International Shipping Corporation, Maersk Line, and Multi- Purpose Holdings Bhd.

Whilst with Maersk Line, he was promoted to Port Captain where he was in charge of negotiations and troubleshooting to expedite port calls in the region as well as regional port feasibility studies; reporting to Vice President in Denmark.

At Multi-Purpose Holdings Bhd, he served as Marine Superintendent and Head of Nautical Division operating from Singapore. Further to shipping he commenced his consultancy career as Managing Director of a Project Management Consultancy and has since been consulting in various sectors including property development and construction, oil and gas and alternative energy, manufacturing, agriculture, and environmental industries.

 


 

Sharina Bahrin
Associate Director

Sharina has over twenty (20) years of experience in corporate finance and business advisory in Malaysia and Australia. Prior to Sea2sea, she spent several years in Aftaas as Director of Aftaas Consulting Sdn Bhd, prior to that in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Corporate Finance and Recovery as Associate Director and before that she spent many years in PETRONAS as the company accounts manager, finance manager of a joint-venture project, and as a group corporate finance senior executive. Apart from that, she was also a member of the PETRONAS corporate strategy team focusing on globalisation.

In Australia, Sharina provided business advisory services as well as preparing accounts and tax returns of entities in the various industries. She has served more than five (5) years as Director and Chairperson of Audit Committee of a Public Listed Company listed on Bursa Malaysia, which in 2008 joined the "Billion Ringgit Club" in terms of market capitalisation. Sharina attended 60 credit hours of "Global Peace and Conflict Management" at Mahathir Global Peace School Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta organised by Perdana Global Peace Foundation from 3rd to 15th June 2013.
